Well, 2007 didn't turn out as well as I hoped, not after winning the world championship last year. Between new equipment and rules and on-track incidents I couldn't avoid, the chips just didn't fall where I wanted them to, quite the opposite of when I went "All in" in Valencia a year ago. But the best thing about racing is that there is another race and another season to focus on. I'm really excited about 2008. Testing has been doing well, and I'm confident the boys at Repsol Honda are working overtime to get us ready to contend and bring the title back to the USA. I am working as hard as ever and will never give up, not after tasting the championship in 2006. I'm also excited about two races in America - the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca and the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which is just three hours from Owensboro. I know the entire OWB will be in Indy to support me there! Thanks for all your support through the years and I hope to see you at the races in 2008. I'm gonna keep fighting - after all, it may have been a bad year, but it's not a bad life! Peace, Nicky.
